Abstract


A work of art is the energy manifestation of the one who created it. It holds the spirit of the artist within its shapes,
its forms and colors.

Each painting began as black and white photographs created by Joe Hoover in the darkroom without a negative.
Fascinated by their movement and voluptuous forms, I applied my own color palette to create small paintings  which
became the basis of these large-scale abstracts.
