Over the years I have painted many roses from many angles, but this first spring bud held a powerful, mystical attraction for me. Almost fully bloomed, Peach Rose revealed the perfection and fulfillment of her beauty. Her colors are the most wonderful in all of nature: light yellows and peaches and forest greens.
