| "A work of art is the energy manifestation of the one who created it. It holds the
spirit of the artist within its shapes, its forms and colors . " - Audrey Flack These paintings were a gift from my partner, photographer Joe Hoover, who always recognizes a good shape or form when he sees one. Each began as black and white photographs created by Joe in the darkroom without a negative. Fascinated by their movement and voluptuous forms, I applied my own color palette to create small paintings which became the basis of these large-scale abstracts.
