"Mission St. Francis Assisi, near Taos, New Mexico, is probably the most photographed and painted mission of all time!  I painted it at dusk, when the mission fairly glows against the darkening sky. The tall trees cast fine, lacy patterns in lovely shades of red and magenta on the smooth rounded wall. Only a hint of the cross glows in the distance. Enjoy!" ~ Anni Adkins
